The Immigration and Nationality Service has urged foreigners living in Ethiopia without legal documents to come to the agency within a month and register for legal documents.
The Immigration and Nationality Service, in its announcement, revealed that there are foreigners living in Ethiopia without legal documents, including fake permanent and temporary residence permits, fake passports and visas, and residence permits without renewal.
The director of the service, Selamawit Dawit, announced that the number of foreigners without legal documents is high, and the agency has identified over 18,000 foreigners with fake residential visas through the work it has done.
Therefore, foreigners living in Ethiopia without legal documents are urged to come to the main office of the agency within the one-month period from Jan 10 to Feb 08, 2024, G.C., and enter the legal registration process.
