The Ethiopia-China Investment Forum was held in Shanghai City with the participation of more than 300 Chinese companies.
During the Forum, Ministers of the Ministries of Finance and Mines Ahmed Shide and Habtamu Tegegn as well as the Investment Commissioner Lelise Neme briefed the company representatives on potentials and opportunities in priority investment areas of Ethiopia, particularly in the mining sector.
Representatives of the Chinese companies, for their part, have expressed their keen interest in exploring the investment opportunities in Ethiopia, pledging to make a preliminary visit in advance.
