The United Nations Industrial Development Organization wants to strengthen its cooperation with Ethiopia.

The general director of the organization, Gerd Muller, announced that the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) wants to strengthen its relationship with Ethiopia.
The 78th United Nations General Assembly is being held in New York.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Demeke Mekonon discussed with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Director General Gerd Muller on the sidelines of the conference.
The general director stated that UNIDO is committed to support Ethiopia’s development projects and peace, stability and development are its primary focus.
Mr. Gerd Muller told Mr. Demeke that the organization will hold an international conference in Addis Ababa in November 2023.
Mr. Demeke thanked the Director General personally for their efforts and said that Ethiopia wants to have a strong relationship with UNIDO.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that Mr. Demeke had a discussion with the high officials of European and Middle Eastern government besides the conference.
