EIC and East African industrial park signed an industrial park development agreement at Skylight hotel.

The signing ceremony was held to commence the development of an East African industrial park over 100.6 ha of land in Bishoftu, Oromia National Regional State.
Upon completion, the park is expected to accommodate mixed manufacturing plants across various industries.
The park is also believed to play a greater role in creating more jobs, capitalizing on skills & technologies, substituting imports, and increasing exports.
